Mother’s Day Rose Selling At Holy Martyrs Of England And Wales

Mother’s Day Rose Selling At Holy Martyrs May 11, 2025 Written by Alexander Jairam Dear Reader, Mother’s Day and roses are closely related. That’s why we decided to sell roses on Mother’s Day! And because we need more money and selling $5 dollar roses will do that for us. The day before, Andrew, Joseph, Gavin, and I, bought and wrapped all the flowers. We sold out of roses at the 1100 mass. We had 96 roses at the beginning, and zero at the end. We ended up making somewhere around $380.85. A little kid only gave us $4.85, but that is fine with me. Also, two people gave us a $100 bill and asked us for change when they were only paying $5. That was kind of annoying, but at least we got another customer. Overall, the rose sale was a success and next week we are doing a bake sale.

Oak Grove Camping Trip (The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 3)

Oak Grove Camping Trip ( The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 3) April 27, 2025 Written by Alexander Jairam Dear Reader, We woke up at 0530 which is super early. We quickly got ready for mass and went to the Panther campsite to attend mass. Mass started a little late, but it was ok. After mass our patrol went back to o campsite to put away the tent and everything else we brought with us. When this was done, we were ready to leave. We piled into the van, and, for a long time, did nothing. I don’t know what was keeping us from leaving, but we waited for a while. When Hedgehog, and everyone else who was leaving in the van had come, we left. Since we had mass on the mountain, we were able to drive straight to Hedgehog’s house which I liked very much. When we got to Hedgehog’s house we said our farewells and parted ways. We left for the campsite as un-official, but we left the campsite as true Goshawks. Except for Andrew, he got sworn in on April 28, 2025, the next day at a ...

Oak Grove Camping Trip (The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 2)

Oak Grove Camping Trip ( The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 2) April 26, 2025 Written by Alexander Jairam Dear Reader, Today we woke up kind of late for a camping trip. We didn’t cook breakfast right away because we were going to have mass said at 0800. We gave him some bread and water and he felt better. There were so many people in confession that the mass was postponed really late. After mass, we started cooking breakfast. Since Joseph had forgotten the LOB, we didn’t have any cooking materials so we used our mess kits. Also, the badgers let us borrow a knife and a cast iron flat top. We cooked hash browns mixed with sausage and eggs. When we started eating, it was around 1100. After, Elk said he would talk with Joseph for a minute and six years later he still didn’t return. In the meantime, we started sewing our patrol colors for the ceremony later. I didn’t start, but most people did. While everyone else was sewing, and I was procrastinating, and not sewing, they...

Oak Grove Camping Trip (The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 1)

Oak Grove Camping Trip (The Trip We Became A Patrol And A Troop Day 1) April 25, 2025 Written by Alexander Jairam Dear Reader, When we arrived, Joseph selected a campsite for the patrol. Well, he selected the last one available. As soon as we knew which campsite we were going to be staying at, we started ferrying our patrol’s gear there. When all the gear was there, we immediately started to set up the tent. We were experimenting with Hedgehog’s tent that he donated to see if it would be waterproof or bad. Once everyone got their gear and sleeping stuff in the tent, we started a fire. After that, we basically did nothing until night. At night, we said the Divine Mercy Novena Day 8 with the troop. We said goodnight and went and had a good night. Atleast, I think we had a good night…

Volunteering To Help S.E.A.S Fundraise At Holy Martyrs Of England And Wales Catholic Church__Week 2

Volunteering To Help S.E.A.S Fundraise At Holy Martyrs Of England And Wales Catholic Church__Week 2 April 6, 2025 Written by Alexander Jairam Dear Reader, S.E.A.S stands for Scripture, Ethics, Apologetics, and Saints. It is the VBS Summer program for Holy Martyrs Of England And Wales Catholic Church. Fundraising for this program is necessary because it is completely, 100%, free. S.E.A.S fundraises by buying Catholic merchandise and re-selling it at church. Usually, only one person manages and sells everything by themself. This year, our patrol decided to volunteer again by helping set up shop, sell items in the shop, and close shop. (S.E.A.S sells twice in a row. The first time is recorded in another post.) Merchandise is sold at three Sunday masses, each at different times. Joseph helped at the 0730 mass, Joseph, Joshie, Andrew, and Gavin, helped at the 0900 mass, and Joseph, Joshie, and Gavin, helped at the 1100 mass. Hopefully I didn’t miss anyone. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help a...
